Bicycles

I love riding steel frames – in my opinion there's just nothing that withstands a comparison. Generally speaking, restoring stuff to its original beauty pretty much feels like meditation, while working on old bicycles is like getting lost in a different era.

This Batavite was built in 1968. Considering its age, it's in marvelous condition, and I was lucky to restore most of its parts, including that funky Torpedo Duomatic transmission. For sure, with its 20" rims, it's just what you call a 'Brötchenfahrrad', but the long wheelbase makes it super fun to use.
